abbassando la macchina (con un assetto ad esempio ) il camber negativo aumenta (da quello che ho capito io )

Sia col McPherson che con i quadrilateri succede.
Inoltre, nel caso della MX-5, si può agire su degli eccentrici per variare ulteriormente la campanatura (o camber)

Inoltre, nel caso della MX-5, si può agire su degli eccentrici per variare ulteriormente la campanatura (o camber)
con i quadrilateri deformabili non si hanno variazioni di campanatura per tutta l'escursione dell'ammortizzatore.

se il braccio superiore e quello inferiore sono della stessa lunghezza e sono incernierati sullo chassis in posizione esattamente verticale, allora la ruota lavorera' sempre perpendicolare al terreno

Esatto.
Ma nel caso della MX-5 non è così
