On-line shopping for O.Z. alloys - one-niner - 06-04-2011

Hi guys.

I've fallen in love with the O.Z. Alleggerita HLT alloys in Titanium Tech finish and now they are available in 16x7, 4x100, ET37, weighing in at 6 kg a piece.

Only problem is the prize (ouch). I've come across this Italian site that offers four of them shipped to Denmark for 763 Euros (!). That is around 25 % cheaper than any Danish, U.K. or German site I've seen and that had me wondering if the site is trustworthy.

What's your thoughts?

the site seems to be ok, can't tell you why the shipping price is that cheaper than the other sites you've found...
i love the Alleggerita too, hope to get them too someday....

Hi; I don't know them but they have also an ebay account (http://myworld.ebay.it/repartocorse-store/?_trksid=p4340.l2559) with 100% of positive feedback...

Thank you for your replies. That last one about ebay was very helpful.

I just ordered the mentioned alloys from http://repartocorsestore.com/

I paid with my VISA card (via PayPal), so I'm not too worried about getting screwed - VISA offer a pretty good protection. The worst thing that can happen is that they send me the wrong alloys. If that happens, It'll probably be easier to resell them here in Denmark than to try and sort things out, considering the language barrier.

Oh well, now I'll just lean back and wait... on a second thought, I think I'll go for a drive instead Smile

Which colour did you take? If you need any help with the language or something just write here!

Thanks, that's very kind.

I picked Titanium Tech. It is supposed to have a slight tone of gold or brown mixed with the metallic finish - I think it'll look good with the rather special blue colour of the 10th Anniversary Edition Smile

Hi Tom,
I'm an Alleggerita Titanium Tech owner: the colour is a mix between a sort of dark chrome and anthracite.
You can see them here http://www.mx5italia.com/showthread.php?14620-Fletch-s-babe

Looks very good. I can't wait to see them on my car. I've also considered blue wheel bolts like yours but I don't know if it'll look corny on a blue car.
