Calibrazione sensore sterzo - Sereno - 09-08-2023
Ciao a tutti. Ho un dubbio sul sensore dell'angolo di sterzo.
Nel caso esso non sia perfettamente centrato, la centralina effettua comunque una calibrazione che permette al sistema EPS di capire la reale centratura dello sterzo, oppure essa leggerà comunque un angolo errato anche se si sta andando in linea retta?
Non riesco a trovare documentazione sulla MX-5 ND.
Ho trovato invece un documento sulla CX-5, che dice: "The steering angle sensor outputs the steering angle and steering angle reference point during the period which the EPS control module performs initial learning (approx. 1 min period)."

io per NC avevo trovato la seguente procedura da fare a seguito di disconnessione della batteria (una specie di ricalibratura)
non so su ND...
WARNING:
• Unless the initialization procedure of the steering angle sensor is completed, the DSC
will not operate, causing an unexpected accident. Therefore, always perform the initialization procedure to ensure DSC operation if the power supply to the steering
angle sensor has been cut off due to disconnection of the steering angle sensor connector or negative battery cable, or any other cause.
a. Ensure ignition switch is in the ON position.
b. Confirm that the DSC indicator light illuminates and that the DSC OFF light flashes.
c. Turn the steering wheel to full right lock, then turn it to full left lock.
d. Confirm that the DSC OFF light goes out. (DSC indicator light illuminates)
e. Turn the ignition switch off.
f. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position again, and confirm that the DSC indicator light goes out.
NOTE:
• If the DSC indicator light does not go out, turn ignition off, disconnect and connect the negative
battery cable, and then perform the procedure again starting from SUB-STEP “a”.

Grazie @"leovar" ! Forse su NC è un po' diverso, allora.
Su ND non mi è mai successo di dover fare la ricalibratura dopo aver staccato la batteria e non appariva mai la spia del DSC.
Sono tentato di credere che su ND si calibri da sé, come dice il manuale della CX-5, ma non ho modo di verificarlo.
