Ocean was able to get the 5000-8500rpm tuned within 30minutes of time. And then he played around with the cam gears, adjusted a couple settings. Ended up we found out the header probably restricted the top end power on this engine. The top end power was 147whp on chassis dyno. It's definitly not an impressive number, but for reference 1.6 miata baseline pull, it's about low 80ish whp. So it did made over 80% of the factory power, a good ~67whp with all those mod. Plus the restricted header blocking off the higher end power after 7k rpm, Ocean will modify the header tomorrow and enlarge the piece from collector to the end to good 2.5inch piping. Hopefully that will free up more power on the top end.
