Semplice, a differenza di BMW, FIAT non ha soldi per sviluppare nuovi motori su veicoli che non fanno grandi numeri di vendita.
Di questo devi ringraziare Romiti e chi successivamente ha portato la Fiat in stato tecnicamente fallimentare, non Marchionne.
