Ciao Doppiaeffe,
quanto a pulizia e praticità il mohair non presenta controindicazioni. Io ho recentemente utilizzato il Gtechniq I1 Smart Fabric come impermeabilizzante e protettivo: si può applicare con temperature supeiori a 5 °C e richiede circa 24 ore per diventare funzionale.
Riguardo la durata del mohair rispetto a quella del PVC non mi esprimo.
