TDR presenta il nuovo "Special Force" turbo kit con GT3071. Notare la curva di coppia piatta, segno che il turbo lavora "a bassa pressione" rispetto alle potenzialita' massime ottenibili, coppia e potenza sono quindi modellate dalla mappatura, ottenendo un incremento di potenza lineare fino a limitatore.

After two years of continued testing and development we are happy to introduce our Special Force Turbo for the MX5.
So what makes it special?
The Manifold: Those who have ventured into the fabrication of a manifold for the MX5 have come to know the major challenge; space, or lack there of.
Unable to use a conventional collector to focus and direct the exhaust flow into the turbine housing, our master fabricators were able to join the 4 tubular runners and sculpt them into a collector like piece, providing excellent flow and pulsation to the turbine.
The manifold is made of Stainless Steel and is warranty for life.
The Turbo: Bigger is better.
Having developed this custom Garrett GT3071 turbo for our 400HP super car builds, we are now reaping the benefits of a turbo that spools faster than a GTX2867 and yet allows exhaust gasses to exit quicker; reducing back pressure and temperature which all leads to better and safer performance.
The Downpipe and Midpipe
Fundamental in the performance of the Special Force, our downpipe is mated to the midpipe via a V-band, eliminating the chance of an exhaust leak and providing a smooth uninterrupted 3 inch exhaust flow all the way back to the muffler.
The downpipe and midpipe are made of aluminized steel and are included in the kit with one resonator; we will add a high flow metal core cat upon request.
Hardware:For ultimate reliability we use only the best.
