ne ho mandata un'altra (suggeritami da Shark) ... attendo speranzoso
Citazione:As I can see from this (http://i629.photobucket.com/albums/uu16 ... 0Large.jpg) photo, took from the link you gave me, the problem I am trying to explain to you is quite clear: even not considering the compression due to the load of the car, the bump stop is too close to the top mount.
When they are installed, the helper compresses and according to this all the travel in compression disappears (http://i629.photobucket.com/albums/uu16 ... 9Large.jpg).
The bump stops have a stiffness around one order of magnitude greater than the one of the spring, and the characteristic is highly non linear: in compression i have almost no travel, while in extension the spring is correctly working. If my car is not lowered till the maximum condition I have a bigger problem: at the beginning of the spring deformation I have a certain stiffness (due to the spring) that immediately increases as soon as I reach the bump stop. According to this I will have my car bouncing on each discontinuity of the road. Some friends of mine (mechanical engineers) suggested me to put in evidence this very big problem in order to review it suddently or at least stop the production and create a review of this project, as it can be really unsafe. Please, provide us a technical report regarding this project: I need data, not only images.
