You need lightweight lugnuts on a racecar to reduce wheel weight.
But on racecar you can afford to pay very good forged or titanium lug nut which are very resistant.
They do cost more than 100 euros new as well.
For our cars they make aluminum nuts at around 60-70 euros.
Aluminum is light but not very resiliant. You end up paying top cash and they get bend and heavily scratched on the first fit.
