I problemi di questa tipologia di Smart sono piuttosto famosi. Sono gli aneddoti preferiti dai meccanici Mercedes che ho incontrato.
Avevano un costo di riparazione in garanzia/per veicolo, maggiore di qualsiasi altra auto uscita dal gruppo Mercedes recentemente, avvicinata solo dal Classe R e i suoi problemi di elettronica.
