Sull urto laterale una buona parte dell'energia è assorbita dal brancardo più la parte sostegno montante A (zona cerniere porta) e/o montante B (zona scontrino porta più torrette cintura.
Se arrivi a deformare seriamente pavimento e zona tunnel dove poi son attaccati i rinforzi, direi che il telaio ha subito un impatto molto importante tale da comprometterne la sicurezza anche dopo la riparazione...
