Tutti i cerchi al mondo hanno marchiatura DOT, JWL e TUV, ovvero norme di omologazione unificate e severe riconosciute a livello mondiale. In Italia, invece, non sono state riconosciute pur prevedendo i medesimi test. Medesimi, non simili.
Hanno usato lo specchietto per allodole del "concedere" misure alternative facili. Purtroppo il marketing ti fa credere che avere un 215/30-19 anziché un 205/45-17 si una cosa da figo, quando invece chi ha un minimo di conoscenze tecniche avrebbe voluto una 235/40-17 o una 225/45-16.
