front subframe does not fit. 100% it doesnt. The rear holes dont line up.
The rack mounts are different.
There are a few styles of subframe.
Front
Mk1 1.6
Mk1 1.8 (same mounting as 1.6 but has holes with captive nuts for braces)
Late Mk1 1.8 (has a fatter brace on the rear of the front subframe which uses 4 bolts instead of 2)
Then you have the mk2 which the rear mounting holes will not line up.. at all. They have been fitted to cars in the past, but it will be wrong as you wont get the last bolts in.
Rears
Mk1 1.6
Mk1 1.8 with the brace bar tabs
Mk2 with brace tabs that sit at a different angle. This one will fit the mk1 but neither the mk1 or mk2 brace will fit as the holes in the floor behind the seats dont match.
Mk2.5 is the same as mk2, but the brace is more substantial and mounts differently to the car floor.
Hope that clears up a load of guessed answers you've had already... and why do i know this.. cause i've just sorted the pile at autolink.. we have far too many of these things.
grazie
